Pastor and Staff

Rev. Norm Gordon, Pastor

Pastor Norm.jpg

Norm brings 17 years of ministry to the table as the pastor of Idylwood Presbyterian Church.  He loves preaching, helping congregations grow in faith, and engaging members and non-members alike in revitalizing spiritual conversation.  His ear is always to the ground to hear about what the Lord might be up to in the community whether it’s answering the call to respond in crisis or simply shepherding the flock to new pastures.

Norm and his wife, Elsie, couldn’t be prouder of their three girls: Alicia (17), Abby (14), and A.J. (11).  They reside in Germantown, MD.

In his free time, Norm runs, plays soccer, plays guitar, and reads historical fiction and non-fiction.  He is always up for lunch or a nice cup of coffee and a chat.

Asks what he loves about the people at Idylwood, Norm says: “their generous spirit, open arms, and desire to help out in the community wherever needed – sort of like Jesus might do!”
